Regional events bringing the community together
DeSIRA-LIFT has facilitated the coordination of in-person DeSIRA CONNECT Days across the four project clusters where the initiative is active, taking place between July 2024 and January 2025. These regional gatherings have provided a platform to assess the progress of innovation within DeSIRA projects, strengthen collaboration among stakeholders, and enhance cross-project impacts within countries. They have also fostered peer learning on open and responsible research & innovation for the transformation of Agricultural Innovation Systems (AIS) and helped strategize the next steps beyond DeSIRA.
