Two DeSIRA projects operating in Madagascar MAKIS and DINAAMICC, both led by CIRAD, had an opportunity to present how their approaches allow them to contribute to the agroecological transition. They gave their presentations during a COP28 webinar on the theme of agroecology as one of the solutions to fight climate change and contribute to the transformation of food systems. CASSECS was present in Dubai in Dubai in two different pavilions: the Senegal pavilion and the CILLS pavilion, where the project gave three presentations on the topics of food security, carbon footprint and the contribution of Sahelian livestock farming to global methane emissions.
